I've experienced first hand what cold wet winters and extreme dry summer heat can do to a structure.

About Me

Upfront, I am NOT a Licensed or Bonded Contractor.

I am a General Handyman, local homeowner and all around good person, willing to do minor around the house fixes and repairs. Most of my work comes from referrals, so if I was refered to you obviously a happy client told you about me.

While being a semi-retired senior citizen (Old Guy), I "do" (unfortunately) still work a part time job 3 to 4 days a week. Handyman repair is something I do in my spare time on my own schedule so at this time I usually don't take on jobs that last more than a couple days.

Based on the project, I'll give you a quote before any work is done. My fees are reasonable based on Material Costs and Time spent to complete the project. All work is done and completed in a timely fashion.

Working in the construction field off and on and being a home owner myself, it has provided me the basic skills to accomplish most any job... So if it's a Modular, Mobile or a Brick & Mortar Home and you need minor work or repairs contact me, I'd be more than happy to help with that project or repair that's required or you've just been putting off... And if it's more than I can accomplish or I don't feel comfortable doing the work I will refer you to a "Locally Licensed and Bonded Contractor".

  • Proudly serving American Veterans and their Families.
  • I guarantee all the work that "I" do.

Why Choose Me?

No matter the size of your home, keeping it in shape can sometimes be a struggle and you may not have the tools or the time to complete your list of repairs. Putting your life on hold to patch and paint a hole, fix a door that won't close properly, or repair a leaky sink is an inconvience.

I set certain goals that I want to be completed and work at a consistent pace because I like to get things accomplished by or before early afternoon.

Affordable

My labor fees are below traditional standards because I am not a licensed Contractor. Material costs are usually the only deciding factor with-in your budget.

Accountability

Communication is key. I "DO NOT" cut corners or do things halfway, if it can't be done right I won't do it at all. In most cases I go well above and beyond to exceed your expectations.

Dependable

It takes an act of GOD to keep me down, so unless there's a major crisis, traffics backed up or I'm being held hostage, I'll be on-site as scheduled.

Guarantee

"I only guarantee work "I" do". I will give you a guarantee on all work I perform. (Mechanical and Electrical Parts not included!)

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a few commonly asked questions I get from Homeowners...

  • This is not a full time job/career for me so I didn't see the need to go through all the paperwork and fee's to do something I enjoy doing part time. I'm just willing to help out with those minor repairs that most homeowners can't or don't have the time to do. I DO GUARANTEE ALL WORK "I" DO!

  • There's a lot of people, both Senior Citizen, Veterans and the less fortunate that can't afford the high cost of hiring a licensed/bonded contractor. Sometimes I just donate my labor if they can spring for the material cost.

  • Typical hourly handyman rates are between $60 to $90 per hour for independent workers and around $125 or more per hour for a handyman who works for a company. An experienced handyman will know approximately how much time it usually takes to do a particular type of job and will charge accordingly, but sometimes there are unforseen circumstances on a job that will need to be addressed which might increase the repair cost.

  • Examples of poor maintenance include cracked or peeling paint, crumbling masonry, broken fixtures or shoddy wiring or plumbing. You can easily repaint a wall, replace a fixture or repair a brick wall, but makeshift electrical or plumbing situations are serious and potentially dangerous problems.

  • Manufactured Homes have a bad reputation. It's one of the things that keep a lot of people from considering them as a housing option. Common Problems are Damaged "Belly wrap", Polybutylene Piping, Loose Tie-downs, Damaged Skirting and Homeowner Additions.
